SONIA'S INQUISITOR'S: SHABNAM HASHMI

A plethora of organizations, western governments and individuals are pursuing the agenda of Balkanization of our country. They belong to different hues of ideologies but have joined hands to fulfil this task of dismantling the unity and integrity of India. Before you read this post, it will be a better idea if you go through the post Inquisition comes knocking, again. This is in continuation to the discussion about the kind of persons behind the divisive 'prevention of communal and targeted violence bill'. We have already discussed John Dayal, Ram Puniyani, Hosbet Suresh, Kamal Farooqui, Harsh Mander and Teesta Setalvad. In this post we will talk about Shabnam Hashmi, member of the adivsory committee for the bill and her organizations SAHMAT and ANHAD.
She claims to be an apolitical person. Surprisingly, her present organization ANHAD was earlier working from the garage of #4, windsor place, New Delhi, alloted to Ajay Chakravorty, an MP of CPI and later on shifted to the official residence of Sayeeda Hamid, who is a member of planning commission. The address is 23, Canning lane. The website of ANHAD tells us the address as Canning lane, New Delhi.

She specializes in 'theories'. Although her theories which have been crumbling in real life, but she remains as brazen and as shameless as ever. 

FIRST THEORY - HINDUS CAUSED GODHRA

For this theory of her's, sample her statement (DAWN):

“The RSS claims that their 52 kar saveks (workers) were killed in bogey no ‘S-6’ of the ill-fated train set on fire by a Muslim mob at Godhra that fuelled the Hindu-Muslim riots. That is all lies. Only on Aug 19, the Indian railway ministry refuted the RSS claim by saying that according to their reserved passengers list, 42 out of 52 are alive and kicking!”

What her theory implies is that RSS is making tall claims of 52 pilgrims being killed, whereas at the most 10 persons are missing. She is almost like a lady Sherlock holmes. Here is evidence of her detective skills:

Further evidence of RSS’ concocted claims comes by looking at the photos of the burnt ‘S-6’ bogey. “If the bogey was fully gutted to burn 56 RSS workers, then how come the fans, the interior and exterior look unscathed?” According to her, the RSS themselves stage-managed the scene of murder by putting a pile of charred bodies one on top of each other (where they got hold of these bodies, no one knows), and locked the inside of ‘S-6’ bogey to conveniently show to the world that Muslims were responsible for such a heinous crime.

So, not only RSS lying but has also procured dead bodies (may be by killing Muslims) to implicate Muslims. She could decipher the entire conspiracy by 'looking at the photos'.

Amazing skills she has! May be scotland yard would like to attend her classes!

Well, there is more in her bunch of skills. What does it remind her of ? See for yourself:

What comes to mind is Kristallnacht (Night of the Broken Glass) when the Nazis unleashed a wave of pogroms against the Jews in 1938, blaming them for the assassination of a German diplomat.

So, the picture of blood thirsty Hindu killers has been completed by comparison with Nazis. Salute her for her melodramatic effect.

Besides, “the Hindu fascists under Modi’s leadership planned the genocide months before and hoarded gas cylinders which disappeared from the market 15 days before the attack; trained their workers to first throw a gas cylinder at a home or business, and once the gas leaked out, throw a petrol bomb to gut out the place completely.”

Then, she also has a time machine or a crystal ball which has told her that Hindu fascists had planned it months before. Mommy, I would like to travel in this time machine!

But then Hindus are even worse then Nazis because their women are robbers. See.

Interestingly, the women’s wing of RSS called Durga Vahini participated in the violence, “There are many eyewitness reports of these middle-class women coming in their fancy cars to loot, some even burning other women.”

Full marks for her ingenuity. Those who do not agree with me must be lacking a sense of humour. Try to imagine a Hindu lady, wearing a Kanjiwaram saree, getting out of a long swanky car. She tip toes past corpses of men and raped women into a hutment and steel. Steel what? May be a TV set. Then she takes out a cylinder from the boot of her car and opens the gas. While leaving she tosses her cigarette (like Mel Gibson) to burn other women.
Now that completes the picture of Godhra being a pre planned conspiracy. Right ?
Now let us see how she takes a U turn on this theory.


Unfortunately for Ms. Hashmi & Co, the preliminary investigations revealed that a Muslim mob of 1500-2000 had planned to burn the entire train at its scheduled arrival time of about 2:30a.m. The train got delayed and reached only at about 7:30a.m. The cover of darkness was not available to the mob, thus only one bogey could be burnt by them which resulted in charring of 59 pilgrims mostly women and children.


The U-turn was quick. A seminar was conducted by her and on the guest list were all her sickular friends. It was used to establish that:

It is nonsense to say that Godhra was pre planned

and

Neither Hindus nor Muslims planned Godhra.

How do you like that? 
No more talk of disappeared gas cylinders and months of planning. By the way, one should not be surprised that the seminar was inaugrated by another such secular called 'Farha Naqvi' who is also a member of the committee behind the 'communal bill'.

In the meanwhile the law was taking its own course. Nanavati Commission submits its report on Godhra train burning incident, saying that it was a pre-planned conspiracy and S6 coach was torched by a mob, which had poured petrol inside it. The Special Investigation team, constituted by Supreme Court probed the Godhra atrocity and eight other riots.

Judge of special court constituted for the case convicted 31 persons for burning 59 Hindu pilgrims. The court has categorically stated that it was a pre-planned conspiracy. But unfortunately for Ms. Shabnam Hashmi, all the 31 accused are Muslim men. 

It was a time when an honest social worker might like to admit that he/she made a mistake and admit his/her fault. The operative word is 'honest'. Here is her reaction:

‘‘(We) reiterate our earlier demand of a CBI inquiry into the burning,’’ said Hashmi. The activist said she welcomes the verdict if those convicted are the real culprits behind the heinous crime.

Notice the acrobatics of words here. No empathy to the slain pilgrims. These sickulars are masters of the game. The reaction of another one of his cronies is even more convoluted :

Mumbai-based scholar Asghar Ali Engineer echoed Hashmi and lashed out at Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi for colluding with the rioters. ‘‘It is more the failure of the investigators than the bias of the court which led to the harsh punishment to some of the accused of the Godhra train burning,’’ he said and questioned the conspiracy theory, saying how can it be accepted as the same court acquitted the ‘‘prime accused’’ Maulana Hussain Umarji.

The punishment is 'harsh' ? Because they are from the community which has 'first right on the resources of our country'. So, they should be allowed to burn innocent men, women and children. The court should release them with due respect.

SECOND THEORY - SECURITY FORCES ARE THE CAUSE OF KASHMIR PROBLEM


That was about our judiciary system, which according to Ms. Hashmi is 'non sense'. She has equally eloquent views regarding our security forces. They are 'shameless' and 'brutal'.Let us look at her statement regarding the violation of human rights by our security forces.

The Delhi based group believes that such shameless acts of brutality by the Indian State, in absolute contravention of the law of the land and constitutional rights of the people, have given birth to mass outrage and hostility of large sections of the civilian population in Kashmir. According to a statement given by Tanveer Hussain Khan, Shabnam Hashmi, Mansi Sharma and Seema Duhan on behalf of ANHAD,“These are unarmed, non-violent citizens, who are being treated with such blatant and indiscriminate use of military force — why? Is there no other way to negotiate with civil unrest? And what is the root cause of this civil unrest if not the basic premise of police and paramilitary brutality? (link)

Looks like she is a gem of a person, who is pained at the high handed behavior of our security forces. It is not secret that the police force of our country is not exactly a paragon of ethical behavior. This aspect has infected our security forces also. May be they exceeded their brief and used excessive force?
But when it comes to Kashmir, it is our forces and the brave men in uniform who are holding it for the nation, in the face of all the anti national forces. They are not only facing hostile politicians and residents but also the 'champions' like Ms. Hashmi. Look at the peaceful protesters.

 

I would like to borrow her dictionary to read the meaning of the word 'peaceful protesters'. By the way, Ms. Hashmi, what about these women? 

What are the security forces supposed to do?
Let themselves be killed by stone pelters?

THIRD THEORY - RSS PLANNED TO KILL RAMDEV

Most of us may find it hilarious but then we are ordinary folks. We are not gifted with super human detective or time travel skills. Let us listen to Ms. Hashmi, on account of police brutality on the citizens of our country, who in this case were actually peaceful.

Here is a set of protesters, who had come from all over the country to protest peacefully and demand a strong law against black money. They were brutally lathi charged and kicked out of the national capital. 
Did our champion go there for solidarity with them. No.
Most of them were Hindus.Therefore, she has produced one of the most fantastic theories. Hear it out:

I have got hundred percent confirmed news, that the RSS had done all the preparations to burn Ramdev’s anti-corruption camp in Delhi at about 3 am on 5th June. After that in the communally sensitive atmosphere their plan was to stage post-Godhra like riots across the country.

She loves to defend Islam everywhere but when it comes to Hinduism, the tone is entirely different. In one of her interviews, she says:

Within Hinduism there is a rigid structure of Casteism which is a tool of exploitation. It sanctions a high status to Brahmans.

Typical missionary stuff. Not only that, she hates all the major Hindu Gurus who are respected by a majority of Hindus.

the New Age Gurus like Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Murari Bapu, Aasha Ram Bapu and others are reaping bountiful dividends because they don’t need thinkers but only blind followers. (LINK)

POT CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK

Of late, she has been targeting the latest thorn in Antoina's flesh. Ramdev. As we have already seen her colored agenda, now let us look what she is saying about the man who has made 'black money' and corruption a nationwide agenda. Look at the cunningness of the words.

Anna could bring together Kiran Bedi and Swami Agnivesh along with communalists like Ram Madhav and Baba Ramdev on the same platform. (link)

Ramdev ? Communalist? 

What she probably means is that he is not the kind of secularist who is biased in favor of or against one particular community.

It seems that Ms. Hashmi suffers from either visible or mental impediment. Trying to tarnish a man, who has integrated followers of all religions into a nationwide movement, which will be the death knell for the government of her boss Antonia.

Now, two years ago, Ramdev had the PM and President of India, visiting him in his Patanjali Yogpeeth. CMs of 15 states have visited him. He had an expanding business and the top most politicians at his beck and call. Had he wanted easy life and self promotion, he could have just agreed with these politicians and raked in a lot of money. Instead he took them on, answering to the call of his soul. That is patriotism and duty of a Guru. Most of the countrymen are unanimous about his honest intentions, although some questions may be raised regarding 'on the spur of the moment statements' of his. His ability to ensure support of Hindus, Muslims and Chritians in the cause of a strong and wealthy nation is a nightmare for Antonia and her acolytes like Ms. Hashmi.

"To equate Baba Ramdev with the anti corruption movement is a big mistake," Shabnam Hashmi, who heads the human rights organisation - Anhad , says. She feels that he is much more consumed by the desire for self-promotion than the fight against corruption. (link)

Did she say Self promotion, Eh? For self promotion, one has to give statements in line with the 'powers that be', like Ms. Hashmi has been doing.
She and her cronies have been blaming RSS for being a hard line organization. But she knows fully well that this organization is involved in social causes. How can she ensure that they should not do anything that will go contrary to the image she along with Antonia and Raul Vinci a.k.a. Rahul Gandhi are tying to create. She goes to America and starts cribbing.

Shabnam Hashmi wants the huge amounts of money donated to right-wing organizations in India by Indian Americans and the US charities to stop: “The RSS runs 30,000 schools which poison the minds of kids against Muslims, who they say must be killed because they marry four wives and have lots of children that will soon convert the Hindus into a minority.” (DAWN Pakistan link)

So, RSS schools teach hatred. By the way, she never utters a word against the Madarasas which teach Quran, a book full of hatred for idolaters. Nor a word regarding missionary schools which try to denigrate Hinduism. In fact, she is one of the most vocal supporter of increasing scholarships to Madrasaas which teach Quran and Hadith to innocent Muslims. 


What is the moral of the theories?


If one believes that 

• No Hindu was burnt to death in Godhra train and the judiciary of highest level is conspiring against Muslims or 
• that Kashmiri stone pelters are 'peaceful protesters' or
• Ramdev is a communalist or 
• government was protecting Ramdev by lathi charging and tear gassing the citizens of our country who were exercising their constitutional right

then one might as well believe that Shabnam Hashmi is not a bigot and a rabid anti Hindu.

During the Inquisition period, the Inquisitors used the rack and pulley arrangement to torture the hapless victims of the cruel law created by the church. The hands and feet of the 'heretic' were tied on opposite sides and the pulley was rotated slowly. The stretching of limbs created severe pain in the joints and then with a 'crack' the joint was dislocated. The death was really agonizing.

Given a chance, will she use the spiked rollers to torture Hindus?

 

I would be very very scared if I knew that the woman incharge of torturing me is biased against an entire community, to which I belong.
