SONIA'S INQUISITORS - RAM PUNIYANI

Before you read this post, it will be a better idea if you first read Inquisition comes knocking, again.

In line with the tradition of NAC members, we find that the person we will discuss in this post possesses all the qualifications of being called a sickular. Meet the guy

RAM PUNIYANI

A former IIT professor, this man is also one of the faces behind the 'secular' Prevention of communal and targeted violence bill. Like his 'opinion mate' John Dayal, this guy is also in love with US statutory authorities, which are hell bent upon undermining India's reputation and pushing their Evangelist agenda. Read his opinion:
India’s rank currently stands at 135 out of 153 nations (2011) assessed on this scale called Global Peace This global Peace Index ranks the countries according to how peaceful they are. India currently falls amongst the 20 least peaceful nations. Similarly for the third successive year US Watch dog on religious freedom (USCIRF) has underlined the need to pursue investigation against Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for his role in Gujarat 2002 carnage, and has put India on the Watch List. This body also points out that another reason, apart from lack of action against Modi, for putting India on the watch list is that the justice for the communal violence victims continues to be slow and ineffective. Both these observations put together highlight the rise of divisive sectarian politics, after the demolition of Babri Mosque in particular.
Which effectively means that we should start taking command from foreign entities for affairs which are internal. That is as far as patriotism is concerned.
Here are his views on Hindu outlook, taken from his blog:
Where does the dalit movement go from here? A section of dalits has benefited form the reservations, education and other accompaniments of affirmative action for dalits. At the same time the reaction to enhancement of dalits position in society has been the rise in the politics of Hindu Rashtra, something which aims at subjugation of dalits and woman.
Then he talks about M.F.Hussain as:
his self imposed exile was due to the threats of Hindu fundamentalists.
A little more advocacy is on the lines that:
M.F. Husain’s work spanned a long period, evolving with time and deeply rooted in the rich traditions of India, plural, diverse Hinduism. He was confronted as to why he does not pick up Islamic motifs for his work to which he replied that Islam has Calligraphy alone and human figures are not drawn in Islamic tradition.
First of all, it is a patent lie because even the prophet Mohammad has been drawn by Muslim painters. Check here.
Secondly, if for the sake of argument, we accept his distorted Islamic restrictions, Does right to freedom of expression give him the right to paint Hindu goddesses in the nude?
Thirdly, he conveniently omits the fact that he ran away from the court cases which he would have faced for ‘hurting the Hindu sentiments’. This is not called ‘self imposed exile’ but ‘absconding from the law’.
On the other hand, when it comes to someone who is a Hindu, like Swami Ramdev, the same Ram Punyani can not see the Hindu traditions but what he sees is:
Baba Ramdev’s anti Corruption Fast: New Face of Communal Politics
Like his other ‘patriotic’ brother John Dayal, this Marxist ex professor excels in tarnishing our country at all possible international fora. The ‘atrocity literature’ generated by the band of close knit sickularists is propagated at every possible occasion to depict our country in a poor light. The foreign powers find their statements as music to their ears.
One of the many organizations which have been created by American Evangelists in collaboration with right wing Christian organizations of Europe is PIFRAS. PIFRAS  stands of Policy Institute for Religion and State  and is head quartered at Washington DC. Like USCIRF, its aim is to poke noses in internal affairs of other countries. It claims to be a non profit, non political and non religious body. The seminars that it holds have everything to do with religion and politics.

What is funny is that this 'non political' entity conducted a seminar on ‘India’s National elections and US Foreign policy interests’.

Did I say 'non political'? Playing with words,eh.

The timing was just prior to the general elections in our country. It was held in Washington DC.And the star of the talk was our beloved Ram Puniyani.
The general drift of the discussion was that minorities are at risk in India and are concerned at the anti conversion laws being passed by some states.
Apart from the fact that the aim of the seminar was to portray India in a bad light, did you find something fishy?
No.
That is the beauty of these propagandists. The first layer is always very benign. Look at the list of the Board members of this PIFRAS. All of them are from monotheistic creeds. The creeds which hate idolatry and thus Hinduism. Now, there are two very interesting fishes here. One is Justice Suresh, which is Justice Hosbet Suresh. He is also one of the Sickulars who have played their part in designing the ‘Inquisition bill’.  We will come to him a little later.
The second one is the executive director of PIFRAS, John Prabhudoss. He is one of the driving forces of another such shady organization, called FIACONA (Federation for Indian American Christian Organizations of North America). As usual, their stand is also the same. i.e. they are glad at the image of India being tarnished at the behest of US. Here is the link.
FIACONA strongly condemns all these acts against poor, helpless and innocent Christians living in India and as a gesture of solidarity towards all Christians; FICONA Board supports the decision of USCRIF to put India on its watch list," added FIACONA President.
Thus, although they are 'Indians' but still support the organizations which consider 'India only next to Iraq' and thus find it fit to put our country on the 'watch list'.He further adds that:
In every respect, Hindus are given priority.
That should complete the picture of blood thirsty Hindus, who recieve all kind of privileges from the ruling class at the expense of minorities. One just has to look at the dwindling numbers of Hindus in the only nation where they are in majority. All imported religions are increasing in number here.

Here is the official site of FIACONA, telling about its executive members. Try to spot John Prabhudoss. You won’t find his name. Why? Because this guy is an expert at playing Jekyl and Hyde. Did you see the name P.D.John? That is our friend.
And of course, on the advisory board, you will find ‘the messiah of dalit Christians’ called ‘John Dayal’, whom we have met here. All of them are inter connected via an invisible web of benign sounding organizations.
The above mentioned discussion by Ram Puniyani and other such worthies was the precursor of
‘Conference on Position of Minorities in India’
to be held in London. By PIFRAS, of course.
It was held, not in some obscure dining hall but at King’s college London. What does it tell the western media via its press release:
February of 2002, witnessed a state sponsored genocide of innocent minority religious people in the state of Gujarat, India in response to an arson in which 58 members of the extremist Hindutva volunteers died . (Link)
Do you get the picture?
When Hindus die, they are not innocent. Not even women and children are innocent. They are extremist Hindutva volunteers. And who is on the panel, the same two interesting fishes: John Prabhudoss and Hosbet Suresh.
When it comes to Islam, the tone of our Marxist changes:
Islam does not condone violence but like other religions does believe in self-defence.
Then when it comes to Hinduism, the venom spewing out from his fangs is continuous:
This Hindutva ideology is a politics based on Brahminical stream of Hinduism and had base earlier in the declining classes of Landlords and clergy (Jamindar, brahmin, Bania) and now it flourishes amongst the new middle class thrown up by the so called development process.
Remember the section in the proposed ‘Prevention of communal and targeted violence bill’, which says that
SECTION 23(2) No person shall be eligible to be appointed as a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson or Member of the National Authority if:
(b) he or she has, in any manner, exhibited bias against any group, by acts or in writing or otherwise
Now, it should be clear to bloody kaafirs like me that the Inquisitors that are proposed to hold the ‘authority’ on more then 80% of other kaafirs like me are biased towards me and my ancestors but no one should have a bias against the ‘elite’ communities.
Let us proceed with the venom of our sickular friend:
This middle class, affluent and the core of 'Shining India' has gained immensely from the process of industrialization and also from the mindless globalization from eighties onwards. It is this middle class, which sustains a new breed of religious people, in saffron or any other color. This new set of Gurus and Acharyas, Sri Sri Ravishankar, Asaram Bapu, Pandurang Shastri Athwale, Sudhanshu Mahraj, Aniruddh Bapu and the like, are the nerve soothers for the existential tensions of the middle class. These Gurus are pushing the Manusmsirit and the feudal values of caste and gender hierarchies in a new language, the language laced with modernity, so to say.
Notice the change in the tenor of the statements. When it was in context with M.F.Hussain, Hinduism was - rich traditions of India, plural, diverse Hinduism. When it comes to Hindu saints and Gurus, the same Hinduism becomes – feudalistic, casteist, gender biased. This guy is unable to see Bhagwad Gita or Ramayan but can only see manusmriti, although most of these Gurus talk of Bhagwad Gita. The underlying theme is that everything stemming out of Hinduism is vile and evil whereas coming from other creeds is justified.
The common iconic enemy of Marxism, Christianity and Islam get special mention, the poor Brahmins. How the Brahmins have been demonized by missionary education is another subject.
About Brahamanism, let us learn the views of Gandhi ji (not catholic Sonia G):
The rabid hatred for anything Hindu is overflowing from the pen and mouths of these members of National Advisory Council. The same Puniyani can sit with Maulana Niaz Farooqui and Sister Mary Scaria to draft a perverted piece of legislation but anyone talking of Hindu or Vedic values must be derided and should be seen as ‘pushing feudal values’.
In 2010, when the major historians have conclusively proved that 'Aryan Invasion theory' was a fabrication by missionaries and Western interests, this guy is pressing home the same line. Here are his views:
Where will one stop? With rule of Hindu Kings?; some may like to go further back to the demolition of Buddha Vihars by Hindu rulers? And then what will one do with the Aryans coming to India and their dominating the native Adivasi and others?
See. The missionary stuff. White Aryans coming and dominating the native adivasis. Do we need outsiders to demolish the unity of our country? The vested political monsters have been using this theory to weaken our nationalism. The same line is pushed forward by NAC.
That is the mental make up of the guys and gals hand picked by Sonia. One can well imagine the real motive behind the legislation. Not only appease the vote bank but also wipe out the oldest, most nature friendly, women friendly and tolerant civilization.
Some people think that Hindus will never learn from history. I am not so sure.

Let me share a piece of legislation that was made a law during the dark ages of Inquisition.
In 1680, at the instance of the Conselho Ultramarino the ceremony of keeping vigil and giving feasts at the birth of children was forbidden. It is interesting to note thta the practice was observed not only by the new converts but also by the Portuguese residents. The representation made by the Conselho Ultramarino in this regard is as folows:
In this Council was seen a paper in which it was represented to his majesty that the residents of the State of India practised a great abuse when sons were born to them by imitating the Hindus among whom it is a custom to hold great celebrations for eight days at the birth of sons and give banquets to all those who attend; and although the number of the Hindu community is considerably reduced owing to many having been baptized, the converts in spite of their being Christians continue to do what the did as Hindus, and the bad example is so powerful that it has infected even the Portuguese in such a form that there is no person whether rich or poor who does not practise these celebrations which are known as the vigil.
This gives us an evidence that the tradition, here referred to as vigil was banned by Inquisitors. A more clear evidence is seen in another record.
Edict of Goa Inquisition (1736)
The said natives of India are hereby ordered that on the sixth day of the birth of their sons and daughters, they should not celebrate the function of keeping vigil with banquets, public or private, or gathering of many persons at their houses.... we hereby forbid the continuation of this custom in the form described above.
Thus this ceremony of vigil was banned by the Goa Inquisition because it was a Hindu ceremony.

Now, there is a torture device placed in St. Petersburg museum which is called vigil. It is assumed that most of such devices were shifted to Russia by those, who wanted to hide the ugly face of Christianity from the Hindus, post independence. Though the records of Goa Inquisition were destroyed but I am hazarding a guess that this particular device was used to torture Hindus, who were caught by the Inquisitors, performing this banned ceremony.

If the Sickulars succeed in getting the legislation passed into a law, what would our Ram Puniyani chose out of the plethora of instruments used by the 'fathers'?

Any Guess?
