SONIA'S INQUISITORS - HOSBET SURESH

Before you read this post, it will be a better idea if you first read Inquisition comes knocking, again.

Remember the name Hosbet Suresh which came up while discussing Ram Puniyani, who had gone to Washington and London to cry about the 'atrocities' committed by blood thirsty Hindus on minorities of our country. In this post we will talk about this former Judge.

At the risk of being repetitive, let me once again put forward the facts. One of the numerous organizations, which are working worldwide for disintegration of our nation, is PIFRAS (Policy institute for religion and state). It conducted a Conference on Position of Minorities in India Kings College, London, UK, on 27 May, 2003. The back ground of the event was given in a press release as:

February of 2002, witnessed a state sponsored genocide of innocent minority religious people in the state of Gujarat, India in response to an arson in which 58 members of the extremist Hindutva volunteers died.

Once the women and children burnt to death by Muslim fanatics are branded as extremist Hindutva volunteers, then they move on to their major concern:

In recent months two states in India have adopted legislation banning religious conversion, while various religious and caste minorities feel their position to be increasingly threatened...The participants in this colloquium represent various minorities or an awareness of the challenge to secularism. They are: Justice H. Suresh, Mumbai. Member of the Concerned Citizens’ Tribunal in Gujarat, 2002

Their singular concern is religious conversions. Something that Mahatma Gandhi abhorred all his life. That is why he said (link):

My fear is that though Christian friends nowadays do not say or admit it that Hindu religion is untrue, they must harbour in their breast that Hinduism is an error and that Christianity, as they believe it, is the only true religion. So far as one can understand the present (Christian) effort, it is to uproot Hinduism from her very foundation and replace it by another faith. (Harijan: March 13,1937)

Let us come back to these enemies of Gandhian thoughts. After the Godhra riots, a group comprising Justice Hosbet, K.G. Kannabiran, K.S.Subramanian (former DGP) and activist Aruna Roy released a report on the atrocities committed on women, during the riots, in the name of Concerned Citizen's Tribunal.

All very gentle and nice people having special concern of women. Since they are talking about atrocities on women, it will be interesting to note that Hosbet Suresh's buddy; former DGP K.S. Subramanian has been arrested for eve teasing. The complainant is a Delhi Police constable. The incident took place near a college whose principal is wife of the former DGP. It made really hilarious headlines:

But then, the 'eve teasing' cop companion is not the most notorious companion of this former Justice of Mumbai High court.

He normally loves the company of fundamentalist Muslims. One of them is called Zakir Naik. He is commonly called an Islamic Evangelist.

Yes. The same Zakir Naik, who is on record saying that 

If Osama Bin Laden is fighting for Islam, I am for him. If he is terrorizing America, then I am with him.

Our former justice gained a few brownie points from him by claiming that Bush is the biggest terrorist. Something that fundamentalist Muslims like Zakir Naik love to hear. Take a look at him:

Interestingly, this Indian Muslim, Zakir Naik, is considered so undesirable in the global community that he has been banned to enter UK as well as Canada.

Why do members of NAC love people like Zakir Naik?

They probably love his views on Hindu religion (link):

Even if Ram and Krishna were prophets of God, they were only meant for people of that time and were to be followed only for that particular period of time. Today, all the human beings throughout the world, including India should only follow the last and final prophet and Messenger of God – prophet Muhammad.

Here is the link. So, he wants us to accept Muhammad as a role model. This Muhammad inducted women in his harem after killing their husbands. For example Saffiya and Juwairiyya. Those who did not convert to Islam, Muhammad kept them as his concubines. For example Maria and Rehana. He married his daughter in law Zainab. Is this what he wants all Hindus to emulate?
What Zakir Naik does not know is that the hoary Hindu tradition respects 'Maryada Purushottam' and not 'sex crazed' perverts.
Well, if Hosbet Suresh wants that kind of life, he can do that. Did I mention the former cop accused of 'eve teasing'?
No surprises for guessing that he wants the inhuman Sharia system to be applied on our country. That will be a different form of Inquisition, which Hindus fought for about thousand years through Maharana Pratap, Prithvi Raj Chauhan, Guru Gobind Singh, Shivaji and scores of others.
 

Let us move to Hosbet Suresh's organization. He is the President of organization called National Confederation of human rights organizations. The name tells us that they work for human rights. This link tells us something about an event that this organization conducted in Mumbai. The same non sense of Muslims being victims was repeated here.

Media has played a major role to project naxalites as anti-nationals and Muslims as terrorists. The Muslims are being targeted in fake encounter killings in the name of terrorism while earlier Dalits and other have-nots were shot down in the name of naxalites.

For Muslims, the law appear to be draconian to this jurist, who is behind one of the most draconian bills ever introduced. What an irony?

The State has armed itself with draconian laws such as Armed Forces Special Powers Act, Unlawful Activities Prevention Act, and derivative state legislations which are irrational, unjust and against the principles of natural justice. These laws justify preventive detention and encourage to extract confessions by any method.

Now let us look at the companions of our sickular:

The sessions were presided over by E. M. Abdurahman, general secretary Popular Front of India. Advocate K.P. Muhammed Shareef, general convener NCHRO, delivered the welcome address.
Dr. John Dayal inaugurated the seminar. Justice Hosbet Suresh, retired judge of Bombay High Court, delivered concluding marks.

If the Kerala police and Chief Minister are to be believed, then this Popular Front of India has direct connections with the outlawed SIMI and LeT. 

The police reports and the then CM of Kerala say that PFI wants to convert Kerala into an Islamic state in next twenty years. Remember the incident in which Muslim fundamentalists had chopped off hand of a professor for allegedly writing a blasphemous paper. Those arrested for the heinous crime are workers of PFI.The Gulf today reported on 10/08/2010:

Police probing the chopping off a professor’s hand in Kerala have summoned two top leaders of the Popular Front of India (PFI) for interrogation...Police asked the PFI state unit president Nasirudheen Elamaram and Professor P. Koya, its ideologue and editor-in-chief of the multi-edition Malayalam daily Thejas, to present before Circle Inspector PP Shams in Muvattupuzha on Aug.12 and 16 respectively.NM Sidheeque, human rights lawyer associated with National Confederation of Human Rights Organisations (NCHRO) headed by Justice Hosbet Suresh who had filed a petition before the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) against the alleged police atrocities was also arrested and put in jail since the police launched the crackdown on the outfit....Koya, who is also the national executive member of the group, was the founder member of the outlawed Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) and its successor in Kerala, the now defunct National Development Front (NDF)

On 15/02/2009, Hosbet Suresh was in Kozikhode to attend a meeting with the theme of empowering Muslims. The Hindu reports:

A meeting of political leaders from various States pointed out that a political movement was necessary for empowering Muslims......PFI founding chairman E.Aboobakker presided. Hosbet Suresh, retired judge of the Mumbai High Court, said that independence would not achieve its true meaning until the power reached the public. He was inaugurating a meet of human rights activists here on Saturday. 

 Now the regime has changed but the fact remains the same and the new CM also holds the same opinion about PFI. Read his views here.

As the police has now come out with some facts, I do assert that the Popular Front of India (PFI) activists are behind this drastic incident

This should be sufficient to tell us about the mentality of this former judge behind the draconian law called 'Prevention of communal and targeted violence bill'.

The officers of 'holy office' i.e. Inquisition had used science and technology for torturing those who did not fall in line with their scriptures. One of them was called a Heretic's fork. Take a look:
