SONIA'S INQUISITORS - TEESTA SETALVAD

Before you read this post, it will be a better idea if you go through the post Inquisition comes knocking, again. This is in continuation to the discussion about the kind of persons behind the divisive 'prevention of communal and targeted violence bill'. We have already discussed John Dayal, Ram Puniyani, Hosbet Suresh and Kamal Farooqui. Let us look at a female face of this divisive group.

TEESTA SETALVAD

Like most of her dubious 'activist' friends, she takes a perverted pleasure in portraying our country in a poor light in front of foreign agencies. The agencies which have divisive designs on our country. Like 'United States Commission for International Religious Freedom'.

She has ably demonstrated her patriotism and 'secular fabric' by appearing in front of the USCIRF (remember John Dayal did the same) in 2002, to tell the U.S. that minorities are not safe in India. Here is the link.

It is a matter of deep significance for me, a journalist and an educationist committed to democratic and plural values, representing an organization that is independent of government to submit this representation to a significant and influential body such as this -the Commission on Religious Freedom and I thank you for this opportunity.  

They feel proud of being given a chance to appear in front of an alien agency, who wants to paint our country in a bad light.

But then this is not the only alien agency whose feet she fell to denigrate every proud citizen of our great nation. Here is what the Supreme Court of our country has said:

We don't appreciate a letter being sent to a foreign country. We can't approve of it.

What our 'patriotic' member of NAC had done was, she had sent the letters to be submitted to Special Investigating Team constituted by the court, to UN Human Rights Commission. She gave an undertaking to the effect that such indiscretion will not be repeated.

I vaguely remember the story circulating in the entire nation that how 'Hindu extremists' had killed a pregnant woman and her fetus had been gouged open with a sharp weapon. It sounded really macabre act on any body's part. Now the truth has come out that the story was 'cooked up' by our sickular lady to spice up the rumors. Here is what the CBI director R.K.Raghvan has told the court:

many incidents were cooked up, false witnesses were tutored to give evidence about imaginary incidents, and false charges levelled against the then Ahmedabad police chief P C Pandey

We all know that CBI is not a holy cow and can be influenced by politics but in this case the government at center would have been happy if Teesta's story had turned out to be true. That would have taken care of Narendra Modi, who is the biggest thorn in the flesh of UPA. 

This story was not the only fabrication by this 'activist'. Here is a little more detail.

That is why this 'activist' has been awarded Padma Shri by the UPA government. How thoughtful?

The Gujarat High court has given a go ahead to investigate all the cases of fabrication by this awarded 'secularist'. May be now she will be tried for perjury. For more details of her lies and fraud, read this.

She has been 'guiding' the US (It should be a joke) on how to give preferential treatment to only one community:

One of the problems that we haven’t discussed much is the systematic destruction of Muslim businesses and other property in Gujarat. It has been huge, by any measure. It would be wonderful if the U.S. government, perhaps as an aspect of its close partnership with India, made special efforts to encourage U.S. investment in the reconstruction of these Muslim-owned enterprises.

How very touching! That is Indian brand of secularism.

Most of my countrymen tend to underestimate the impact of such 'atrocity literature' generated by 'pimps' of our nation. The conference was sponsored by Ethics and Public Policy Center or EPPC. This is what they tell us on their site:

Founded in 1976, the Ethics and Public Policy Center is Washington, D.C.'s premier institute dedicated to applying the Judeo-Christian moral tradition to critical issues of public policy.

That should tell us about their orientation. The co-sponsor of the conference was INFEMIT i.e. The International Fellowship of Evangelical Mission Theologians. Another Evangelical organization. Mostly of the third world.

What they achieved can be retrieved from the U.S. Congress library. The Congressman Joseph Pitts was all ears for the 'atrocity literature' dished out by our seculars. I am reproducing the one minute speech that he gave:

Mr. Speaker, I rise today to condemn the atrocities committed by Hindu extremists in Gujarat, India , against Muslims and other minority groups. Last week I met with human rights, academic and religious leaders from India who shared reports documenting the designs of the extremist groups against Muslims, Christians, Dalits and others.

Trained combatants in Gujarat entered villages and attacked men, women and children. Pregnant women had their wombs ripped open and unborn babies were ripped out and tossed onto burning fires. Approximately 300 women were gang raped. Over 2,000 people died. I have photos too gruesome to show in my office.

It appears that some of these Hindu extremist groups receive some of their funds from charities in the U.S. and the U.K. We should ensure that no funds from the United States gathered under charitable causes are used to finance terrorism, and we must publicly condemn the violence and officials who support ethnic cleansing.

Mr. Speaker, our government must respond to these brutal attacks and the underlying extremism. The silence of the U.S. Government is deafening.

The same literature. All fabrication. 

Notice the number; 2000 people killed. The number released by even UPA was 254 Hindus and 793 Muslims were killed. By which mathematics, the number reached to 2000, can be read here. That is what US is doing. That is what Rahul Gandhi is doing. That is what NAC is doing. Fabricating. Well, back to Teesta.

It is not that she started producing 'atrocity literature' with Godhra. She had been doing this service even in pre-Godhra era. She runs a rag with her hubby. It is called communal combat. Here is what she wrote in 1998:

Gujarat state, the laboratory for Hindutva, has witnessed a qualitatively different kind of violence unleashed on both Muslims and Christians since the BJP returned to power in February 1998. Innocent Christians and Christian missionaries have been made targets of a venomous and unsubstantiated propaganda against the alleged “conversion motive” of their institutions, even as the same Hindu political elite patronizes convent schools! The sub-text behind the attacks on Muslims has of late been dominate by “ultra nationalist’ venom and discourse.

The golden rule is that Christians and Muslims are always innocent. Also see the 'alleged' thoughtfully planted before 'conversion motive'. 

Dear Teesta ji, What else will the missionaries do?

Here is what Mahatma Gandhi had said about missionaries:

It is impossible for me to reconcile myself to the idea of conversion after the style that goes on in India and elsewhere today. It is an error which is perhaps the greatest impediment to the world's progress toward peace. Why should a Christian want to convert a Hindu to Christianity? Why should he not be satisfied if the Hindu is a good or godly man?

He was a visionary. He knew all about the sweet tongued missionaries. He has not minced words. It is an impediment to peace. That is why we will see conflicts, as long as missionaries will continue with their dirty tricks.

Interestingly, the above article of Teesta was sent to Bill Clinton by a thoughtful Radical Muslim to impress upon him that Americans should not invest in Gujarat. Something that they are doing today also, even after a decade.

When Hindus were tortured by Christian fathers during Inquisition, there were no women Inquisitors. This time it will change. Let us talk of another maiden.

 

This is known as Iron maiden. The poor heretic, who did not follow the line of Church, was enclosed. The spikes were strategically placed to puncture vital organs. This maiden was deadly but the living maidens are deadlier for our nation.
