Inquisition: Part 1

This is an extract from the Bible. It is from the chapter 13 of Deuteronomy of the Bible. The God of Bible is asking its believers to check if anyone serves any other Gods,  then first the believers should enquire diligently and then kill those who serve other Gods.
If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the LORD thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying,
Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known;
Then shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you;
Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.
Serve other Gods ?

Who is saying this. God of the Bible. But we have been bombarded with the lines to the effect that 'God is one'.

And here we find that the Biblical God is not only confused about his solitary existence but is suffering from a mix of emotions which we label as human. Anxiety. Jealousy. Anger. Insecurity.

What is the extent of this Jealousy?
The faithful Christians are supposed to kill all those who 'serve other Gods'. The words used are 'smite with edge of a sword'. The command is clear.

Kill.

Why?
Because they 'serve other Gods'. What a crime!

God tussi great ho!

If you missed the detail, let me refresh. 'and the cattle thereof, with the edge of sword'.
So, mute cattle are also to be killed. Why? Because, someone did not believe in one particular God mentioned in Bible. So, the crime of the cattle is that they belonged to some person or community who believed in other God. Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews et al. are to be killed. And their cattle. This is the God of mercy.

Today, in twenty first century, the church and its peddlers have changed the tactics. Today, they utter a lot of fast talk only of mercy and compassion. Do not be fooled because it is just that. Talk. Nothing else. Just a mask on the real face. The face colored red by the blood of millions of innocent humans. And of course Cattle.

But that is not the topic of the post because if I have to right a post on the gory chapters of Bible, It will take a lot of web space. Kindly look at the bold words in the extract from Bible.

Yes. Enquire and ask diligently.

If you find that the God of Bible is perverted enough, then you must know what his followers did. They took these two words seriously. Very seriously. The result was the most well oiled machinery of corruption, death, torture, rape, frauds and Misery.

The Pope along with his entire gang of archbishop, bishops, friars and the rest devised a tribunal, which was named Inquisition, with a capital I.

It worked like this. If anyone was suspected or reported to have deviated from the behaviour in accordance with the Bible or the Church, he was taken into custody for Inquisition. There he was asked diligently by the loving fathers.

A french doctor named Dellon, who was in India suffered at the hands of this tribunal in eighteenth century. This is how he describes their diligence:

This diabolical tribunal takes cognizance of heresy, Judaism, Muhammadanism, sodomy, and polygamy; and the people stand in so much fear of it, that parents deliver up their children, husbands their wives and masters their servants to its officers, without daring in the least to murmur. The prisoners are kept for a long time, till they themselves turn their own accusers, and declare the cause of their imprisonment, for which they are neither told their crime, nor confronted with witnesses. As soon as they are imprisoned, their friends go into mourning,' and speak of them as dead, not daring to solicit their pardon, lest they should be brought in as accomplices. When there is no shadow of proof against the pretended criminal, he is discharged, after suffering the most cruel tortures, a tedious and dreadful imprisonment, and the loss of the greatest part of his effects. The sentence against prisoners is pronounced publicly and with extraordinary solemnity.
Do not flatter yourself that Hinduism is not present in the list of crimes here. In fact, Hindus suffered most cruel treatment. More on that later. In fact, the word heresy could be and was, defined as the situation demanded.

He is not exaggerating because he had first hand experience. He was one of those rare victims who survived the ordeal.

If you have not had that spooky feeling up your spine, till now, it sure will come, once you go through the list of machinery.

When I say machinery, that is what I mean. Take a peek. This is one of the items designed for the use of our loving fathers.

Oral - Vaginal - Anal Pear
The name of the machine gives the idea of its use. No!

Okay let me explain. One of the descriptions says that it was put in the mouth of the poor fellow at the mercy of church fathers and the screw was slowly rotated. It resulted in the opening up of the four metal leaves into the mouth, distending the jaw, without the chance of closing.

Why would they be interested in keeping the mouth open?
So, that our loving church fathers could pour molten lead into the mouth. Yes, because that is how Bible describes punishment by burning.

This is how the perforated spoon used for pouring lead into the mouths of the victims was sketched by Gerald Tholen. I could not locate the real thing, thus suspect that may be they have not been preserved. That is why you are looking at a sketch instead of a photograph. It has been taken from the book 'Thumbscrew and Rack by George Macdonald ISBN 0-910309-68-X. It was sketched because the artist saw it at an exhibition. This snapshot, I have taken from the book 'Why Christianity happens to be a system of organized crime', by Maanoj Rakhit.

Most of the records have been lost or destroyed. Like the prison in India, which was located at Goa was called 'the Big house'. It has been described by Dellone in his book 'Account of Inquisition' to have had 200 cells of size 10 x10. But before the portuguese left, they had destroyed the records as well as 'the big house'.

Now, think of this instrument being thrust into the orifices of a woman and the screw rotated. Can you feel her pain, shame, helplessness.

Look at the other specimen which have survived the centuries and appreciate what I am trying to say.

Look at the spike at the end. Try to imagine the depravity of the sick mind which would have thought of designing such an object. And imagine one single lady, stripped and bound, white and black robed holy (sic) bastards surrounding her to enjoy her pain and misery.

That is how they enquired and asked diligently. This asking was called Inquisition.

No wonder that most of the women preferred to get raped by the fathers instead of being gang raped in dungeons and then being killed brutally.

The fathers had a happy time raping all the women of their parishes or torturing and killing the gritty ones. Inquisition started in 1206 and it was aptly named Pope Innocent III who gave the permission of use of torture during Inquisition.

For next six centuries, pope after pope, continued with this tribunal and it became more and more efficient (read cruel). It was the disenchantment of Europeans with the church that forced the church to relinquish this cruel arrangement in first quarter of nineteenth century.

If the ordinary fathers had so much fun, how much the popes would have enjoyed can only be guessed.

Somethings never change. It is true for crooks. Look here.

No wonder the crooked machinery is still working overtime in our country to bring back the 'kingdom of God'. The God that wants those who serve 'other Gods' to be killed. And also their cattle. Holy cow!

80 Popes in continuation lorded over this tribunal. Yes. 80 Popes. In succession. They would have loved the perks of  the office. It was called 'The holy office'. These guys really had a macabre sense of humor.

The pope wears Prada shoes. What would we call it? Mercy. Compassion. Consumerism. Someone said he loves Gucci to. Wonder what else he loves.

Just Wondering!

I am the lord, your God.
