SHAH RUKH - A JIHADI IN DISGUISE (?)

The aim of this post is to expose the fraud committed by Shah Rukh Khan on the audiences through his movie 'My name is Khan'.
The main motive of a commercial movie is either to earn money or propaganda of some kind. MNIK falls in the latter category and any commercial interests are purely incidental.
One aim of the movie is to establish that not all muslims are terrorists. Which is absolutely right and understandable. There is a very large number of Muslims who are not terrorists. They have aspirations like anyone else.

Then there are subtler messages which are not so true. In fact, they are outright lies and everyone must know the truth. That is what is the aim of this post.

In this movie, Shah Rukh has played the part of a Muslim man, who is suffering from a mental disorder. Since I have not seen the entire movie (Shah Rukh's acting was atrocious), I do not know if they told the name of the disorder or not, but the theme suggests that he is playing a character who is suffering from Autism.

Accordingly, Shah Rukh has portrayed a person suffering from ineffective interpersonal communication and takes everything that he hears or reads, literally.
Shah Rukh's son is killed by some other kids in a hate crime attack because he is a Muslim kid. Kajol, his wife, in a fit of anger tells him to go and tell the president of U.S. that 'his name is Khan and he is not a terrorist'. Instead of understanding that she has said it in a fit of rage, the Autistic character takes it literally and leaves his home to talk to the U.S. president. To add to the melodramatic effect, Kajol tells him he should not show his face to Kajol, till he has done so.

That is the theme of the movie.
Now, let me bring the attention on the lies pedaled in the movie.

In one scene, on hearing the news that an American journalist has been killed in Afghanistan (or was it Iraq?), Khan is shown to be in a pensive mood. He is thinking loudly, so that the audience can hear what he is thinking. The voice of Shah Rukh in the back ground says:

अल्लाह ने सूरा 5 की बत्तीसवीं आयत में ये साफ़ साफ़ कहा है की जिस किसी ने एक भी आदमी को मार दिया, उसने मानों सारी इंसानियत को मार दिया. 

ie. Allah has clearly said in verse 32 of chapter 5 of Quran that whosoever kills a person, it is like he has killed the mankind.

Thus our king Khan is telling the audience that Quran does not promote killing of humans, in fact, killing is condemned by Quran and Allah.
I also believed so, as long as, I had not read the Quran.

Now, let us see, what does Quran actually say in the verse mentioned by Khan:

Because of that We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. And indeed, there came to them Our Messengers with clear proofs, evidences, and signs, even then after that many of them continued to exceed the limits (e.g. by doing oppression unjustly and exceeding beyond the limits set by Allah by committing the major sins) in the land!.

I have mentioned, the half truth that Khan used, in blue. It appears saintly and compassionate. Doesn't it?

Now, read the full verse. Suddenly, it does not appear so tolerant.

Can you see through the mischief?

For those who are unaware, the context here is that Allah, via Mohammad is complaining about Jews (children of Israel), who were not accepting Mohammad to be their prophet. Thus the verse is a command for Jews and not, as our Autistic home grown apologist of Islam wants us to believe, for our Muslim brethren.

Moreover, did you notice the caveat (or caveats): It means that one can kill for retaliation of murder and also if someone spreads mischief in the land. What the hell does 'mischief in the land mean'?

Confused???

Then read the very next verse which explains the term:

The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter.

So, those who do not believe in Allah and his messenger do mischief in the land. Which effectively means all non Muslims. What should be done to all those non Muslims?
Allah wants those who wage war against him to be;
either killed 
or crucified 
or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides 
or be exiled from land?

It seems that Allah wants everyone to believe in him and his prophet at any cost. Here, the point is not that the supposed creator of the limitless universe is worried about some lowly infidel waging a war against him. The point is how, by treachery, an absolutely cruel command of a book has been used to show as if Quran talks about peace.
Since I have read the entire Quran, I knew that it does not talk about peace but about killing of followers of all the other religions, therefore, I know that Khan is lying. But most of the citizens, do not know the extent of intolerance in Quran.
Difficult to believe? Grab a copy of Quran translated by some authentic scholar and read it for yourself.
But then, pressed by the struggle for our daily existence, we do not have time to read such bulky books.
OK. Think it this way; If Shah Rukh wanted to portray Islam as a peaceful religion, then why he had to twist a verse which could be exposed? He could have picked up a verse which would have talked about compassion to mankind. That would have saved him from criticism.
Logically, he should have done it this way.
But there is a problem.
There is no verse in Quran which prohibits killing or takes a compassionate view of people killed, belonging to other religions.

Ironically, when a Christian professor is said to have framed a question, which contained reference to a character named Mohammad, it resulted in the Christian losing his hand. Remember the teacher in Kerala, whose hand was chopped by Muslims.

Now, let us try to think of an Autistic Shah Rukh who will act according to Quran and take every word literally. Before he reaches Ayat 32, which he talked about in the movie, he would have read the verse 14 also. Here it is:

And from those who call themselves Christians, We took their covenant, but they have abandoned a good part of the Message that was sent to them. So We planted amongst them enmity and hatred till the Day of Resurrection (when they discarded Allah's Book, disobeyed Allah's Messengers and His Orders and transgressed beyond bounds in Allah's disobedience), and Allah will inform them of what they used to do.

This will tell him that the All merciful Allah has himself planted enmity and hatred against Christians till the end of the world. Is it so Shah Rukh mian? Now will an indoctrined or deranged or autistic Muslim take Christians as friends? Or he will obey the command of Quran and stick to only Muslim men as friends?

Then there is also the verse 51 of the same chapter which tells us about the love that the all merciful Allah has for Jews and Christians:

O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliya' (friends, protectors, helpers, etc.), they are but Auliya' to one another. And if any amongst you takes them as Auliya', then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers and unjust).

So this is the truth about the tolerance which is taught to all the Madrasa going Muslims. Every Maulana teaches it and has been doing so for last so many centuries. In our county, the irony is that the Zalimun polytheists i.e. Hindus are paying for the salary of the Maulavis of the Madrasas.

Then there is another scene in which the son of Shah Rukh is sitting in his class when the teacher says that Muslims fight with others in the name of Jihad. The kid lowers his head with disappointment. The message is that the world is really cruel and even kids are mentally tormented for no fault of theirs.
In real life, if some teacher does so, it is unethical. But that does not alter the fact that Quran asks Muslims for Jihad, which is not any inner fight but fighting and killing all other religions. Sample this:

Indeed Allah has purchased from the Muslims their lives and their wealth in exchange of Paradise for them; fighting in Allah's cause, slaying and being slain; a true promise incumbent upon His mercy, (mentioned) in the Taurat and the Injeel and the Qur’an; who fulfils His promise better than Allah? Therefore rejoice upon your deal that you have made with Him; and this is the great success.

So, fighting in Allah's cause called Jihad (jihad fi sabillilah) is obligatory to all Muslims. Killing and getting killed is their duty towards Allah and only then they become eligible for the special Islamic paradise.
Is it tolerance? Peace? Compassion? Mercy?
Mr. Khan, You or for that matter, how many Muslims, have honestly accepted the fact that Quran teaches hatred and intolerance?
The very few, who have dared to be honest and upright have been hounded by the likes of you with the help of fatwas. They dared to use their talent in pursuit of truth, instead of becoming agents of subversion of humanity.
On the other end of the spectrum are guys like you, who have the morals of an alley cat. Biting the hand that feeds them.
Most of our countrymen do not know that MNIK type of propaganda is permitted by Islam as 'Taaqia' and is also known as 'Jihad bil Kalam', i.e. fighting with pen.
Probably you have your seat booked in the Islamic paradise where houris are waiting for you.
